Hickson Trail
The Hickson trail runs along an old railway bed from Woodstock, Ontario north through 9 km of Oxford County woodland to the village of Hickson in the Township of East Zorra-Tavistock.
It is free and open all year around for walking, cycling, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and other outdoor and nature activities. The trail surface is natural and stone dust.

Parking
Parking and the trail can be accessed from the Hickson Park located at 99 Lovey's Street, Hickson, Ontario, N4S 7W1.
Trail Etiquette
- Take only picture and memories, leave only footprints.
- Respect the environment.
- Keep to the right. Pass on the left.
- Remain on the trail. Respect private property.
- Keep pets on a leash. Clean up after them.
Hickson Trail Committee
The Hickson Trail Committee was a committee of volunteers formed under the guidance of the Township of East Zorra-Tavistock. Through their efforts, the Committee was able to fundraise and make significant improvements to the functionality of the trail.
Their work included installing two bridges for two creek crossings on North Section of the trail, clearing and leveling the trail base, ditching and installing drainage, and clearing overgrowth.
