The Township is home to many parks and recreation facilities that are available to book, including the Innerkip Community Centre, Hickson Community Room and Tavistock and District Recreation Centre. 

Recreational Programs

Recreational programming is not managed by the Township. Independent sports committees may have available programs. Be sure to check the newspapers and our Community Groups page for their listings.

Rent a Facility

To rent a recreational facility, please contact Facility Booking at the Tavistock Arena.  They can be contacted via email facilitybooking@ezt.ca or at 519-655-2102.

 Facility rentals are subject to the Booking Requirements at Township Facilities policy and the Municipal Alcohol Policy. 

Please note that all recreational facilities will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day; and closed at 12:00pm on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve
