During the Meeting
- The following correspondence was reviewed by Council and received as information:
- April - May 2024 Rural Oxford Economic Development Activity Report
- Upper Thames River Conservation Authority request for support
- Rail Safety Week 2024
- Oxford County's update on Punkeydoodles Corner intersection improvements
- Council reviewed and approved The Tavistock Agricultural Society's Fall Fair Municipal Significance request.
- Fire Chief Scott Alexander presented his report on the Regional Fire Training Centre update.
- Councillor Steven Van Wyk provided an update on the Recreation Advisory Committee regarding their online survey and project priority open houses.
- The EZT Strategic Plan was presented to council for their consideration. After some minor changes, the amended plan was approved.
Planning Matters
Council reviewed and approved the zone change application below:
- Minor Variance Application A-2-24 for 100 Fred Krug Avenue.

The next regularly scheduled East Zorra-Tavistock Council Meeting is set for Wednesday September 4, 2024 at 9:00am.
