Council Meeting Agenda Summary - May 17, 2023

1. Council will consider correspondence from the Association of Ontario Road Supervisors regarding their upcoming trade show in Strathroy; the Oxford Pride Committee regarding their request to raise the Progressive Pride flag, as well as sponsorship opportunities; and Brian Middleton regarding his request to ban non-government and special interest group flags in government spaces.

2.  Council will consider a Minor Variance application for 636584 14^th Line, Tavistock. 

3. A public meeting will be held to review the Proposed 2023 Draft Capital and Operating Budget.

4. Oxford County will present the Blue Box Transition to Extended Producer Responsibility Update.

5. Staff reports will be presented. Some highlights are:

• The Municipal Alcohol Policy final draft will be presented.
• The Request for Proposal for the Tavistock Spray Pad has been issued. Construction is proposed to being after the fall fair, in September. 
• A new agreement between the Township and Hickson Sports and Recreation Inc.
