Council Meeting Agenda Summary - December 4, 2024

Council meets next on Wednesday December 4, 2024 at 9:00am. The meeting will be held at the Township Administration Building at 89 Loveys Street, Hickson, Ontario. The meeting livestream is also available on the Township's website.

The video hyperlink will become available once a meeting is being livestreamed. The livestream link will be available approximately 5 minutes before a meeting is scheduled to start. 

Recordings will be posted within the next day following meetings.

1. Council will receive a request from the Municipality of Leamington to support their motion to seek a resolution to the significant OPP cost increases being forced on may Ontario municipalities.
2. Council will also receive correspondence with a request from Children's Aid Society of Oxford County for a letter of support, as they face significant funding challenges from the province. 
3. Staff Report FC-2024-02 - Quarterly Report, from Scott Alexander, Emergency Services Manager and Fire Chief will be presented to Council. 
4. A staff report will also be presented  recommending amendments to the Township's Procedural By-law. This amendment seeks to change the time of the second council meeting each month from 7:00pm to 9:00am.
