Council Meeting Agenda Summary - April 17, 2024

Council meets next on Wednesday April 17, 2024 at 7:00pm. The meeting will be held at the Township Administration Building at 89 Loveys Street, Hickson, Ontario. 

Agenda Summary:

1. Council will receive correspondence from Tavistock Minor Ball requesting a designation of municipal significance for the Cephas Roth tournament. 
2. Council will also receive and consider an application for a Community Flagpole Request from Oxford County Pride. 
3. Council will also receive correspondence regarding ERTH Power Corporation's Annual General Meeting, the Oxford County 2023 Annual Waste Management Report, Rural Oxford Economic Development Corporation's 10th Anniversary and Award Event,  and the Stratford General Hospital's Foundation tour of their new building project. 
4. Council will review and consider Minor Variance Application A-1-2024 for 657173 15th Line.
5. A delegation will be presented to Council from Rural Oxford Economic Development Corporation on the 2023 Year in Review. 
6. Staff Reports will be presented for Council's review and consideration for updates to the Booking Requirements at Township Facilities, the Commemorative Tree and Bench Program, and the Procurement Policy. 
7. The 2023 Year End Building Report will be presented, as well as the results from the Surface Treatment Tender. 
8. By-law #2024-16-ZBA Application ZN2-23-06 will be presented to Council.
