Canada Post Strike
All Canada Post mail delivery has been paused due to the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) national strike. This impacts some East Zorra-Tavistock services.
Property Taxes
Property tax bills have been mailed for the year. Please do not put your bill payment in the mail. Residents are responsible for paying their bill on time.
During the postal strike, property tax bills can be paid:

Online or telephone banking

Pre-authorized withdrawal from your bank account

In person - at the Township Administration Building or your bank branch during regular business hours

Township Administration Building (89 Loveys Street) Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Drop box – located at the Township Administration Building (cheques only, delivered in a sealed envelope)
Accounts payable
Vendor invoice payments will continue to be processed and paid by EFT (electronic fund transfer) or cheque as normal. Cheques will be held and not mailed during the postal strike. To submit invoices electronically and sign up for EFT please email ap@ezt.ca
