Are you planning a family reunion, birthday party, picnic, wedding reception, hockey clinic, seminar or meeting? Host your next event at one of the Township's many facilities. A variety Township spaces are available for rent including arena ice, community centers, pavilions, meeting rooms and halls.

Parks and Recreation Master Plan Update

In consultation with Stantec Consulting, the Township has been working to create a strategic Parks and Recreation Master Plan. The Plan will be used to guide Council and staff in the strategic management and decision-making process for the future of parks, trails, recreation facilities, and programming within the Township.

Tavistock Leaf and Yard Waste Depot Temporarily Closed

The Tavistock Leaf and Yard Waste Depot will be temporarily closed for paving by Oxford County on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 for approximately one week. In the interim, please dispose of your yard waste at one of the neighbouring depots:

• Drumbo – 895957 Oxford Road 3
• Hickson – 158 Loveys Street
• Innerkip – 90 Main Street

Notice of Office Closure - Good Friday and Easter Monday

As a reminder, the Township Office will be closed on Friday April 15, 2022 for Good Friday, and Monday April 18, 2022 for Easter Monday.

The office will re-open on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 8:30am for regular business hours. Garbage and Recycling collection is not effected.
We wish everyone a safe and happy holiday long weekend.

John and Henry Street Road Reconstruction

Beginning on Monday April 11, 2022 road reconstruction will begin on Henry Street from Woodstock Street North to John Street. John Street from Henry Street to Jacob Street East. John Street from Jacob Street East to Hope Street East. Local and emergency access traffic only.

Work is expected to be completed by Friday July 15, 2022.
