Public Consultation Meetings

Council is looking for your input on what to do about Municipal Office Space Requirements.  Council has reviewed the survey information and is currently focussing on options for leasing space and building a new facility, possibly at 89 Loveys Street Hickson which is Township owned land across the road from the current office.  Council wants to ensure this process is open, transparent and inclusive, so additional Public Consultation is being undertaken.

Two meeting formats are being offered.  The Public Meetings will have a presentation followed by a Question & Answer session and opportunity for Public Input and Comments.  The Drop-In/Open House will not have a presentation.  You can drop-in at any time between 4 – 6 p.m. and speak with Council and staff.  You can also view the existing office and see first-hand some of the challenges.

Public Meetings:

  • Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 10:00 am (part of the regular Council meeting at the Oxford County Administration Building) – 21 Reeve Street, Woodstock ON
  • Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. Innerkip Community Centre, 695566 Oxford Road 5, Innerkip ON
  • Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. Tavistock Memorial Hall, 3 Adam Street, Tavistock ON

Public Drop-In / Open House:

  • Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 4 – 6 p.m. Hickson Municipal Office, 90 Loveys Street, Hickson ON (no presentation – drop-in, speak with Councillors and Staff, view the Hickson Office)
